Palarong Rural 2011

Another 3-day highlight of my awesome semestral break. Everything that occurred last sembreak were all highlights, really, and I just couldn't be anymore grateful to all my friends and newly-found friends for everything!
With my highschool batchmates before the Cheerdance Competition

Sophies, the batch that we handled, performed first and surprisingly turned out to be 1st runner ups(!!!). We were all shocked and in awe at the same time. If there's anyone who'd be most surprised about the results, it would have to be our batch. Because from the start, we were in doubt about their routine and the team's dedication. But in the end, we just swallowed all the mean things that we said since they really gave a great performance. Also, if there's anyone who could be any prouder, it would also have to be our batch since we witnessed their routine's transformation. As what I've said, the kids' performance was better than what we all expected.

Sophies boys' first Volleyball Game

Epic team effort right there!

I love that I was able to capture this!

I really like it when all of them listens intently to what their coaches would have to say.

My friends are hilarious posers! They're both my batchmates, btw.

He did this every time their team scored. It's so funny! Haha

With my beloved batchmates! <3

The pitcher of the kids' softball team is really pretty~

JV and Carlo cute father-son moment!

Ivan Mauricio in action. He surprised everyone with his energy during the Volleyball Girls championships. He instantly became my favorite cheerer!

Carlo cartwheeled whenever the Sophies gained a point.

Our kids won! How's that for a 2nd year high school champion in Volleyball (Girls)? Our kids are the best!

The team! <3

Tears of joy

My batchmates/ Volleyball coaches with Krizia (in dark green jersey). We've became too attached with the kids that we hardly even notice the 4-year age gap and I know that you can't even differentiate the High School from the College students in this post (unless you know me and my friends personally).

I know that this is a very badly composed photo but I don't care. This was shot right after Xandy made a home run!!! I can still imagine myself cheering!

The kids <3 Right after they bowed and thanked us in the middle of a basketball game. <3

Batchmates!!! <3 God knows how much I love all of them!

Another championships earned by our kids! Basketball (Girls) champions, oh yeah!

The Volleyball coaches treated the kids some pizza.

Powerade photoshoot of my friend JV. Last two photos by June

Honestly I don't know how to finish this entry. Maybe, I should just let the photos speak of themselves. I had fun capturing these moments! All thanks to Rhexie's camera. Until now, I still find myself staring blankly and just rewinding everything that happened. I miss the kids and my batchmates everyday and gladly, I have these photos to browse whenever I do.

How was your semestral breaks, guys? Hope you had fun as much as I did!
